If you have just added a business to the map, you will see an error when tapping "Claim this business" button as the business is not visible to MAPS.ME users yet.
After you have added a business to MAPS.ME:
- Connect to WiFi and make sure that you have signed in OpenStreetMap profile in MAPS.ME settings. It is required so that the data is synced with our data source OpenStreetMap.org. Otherwise the business will only be available on your device;
- Check that the business has appeared on OpenStreetMap.org website in one or two hours;
- Wait for a new release and update the app. Open the app settings → About MAPS.ME and check the data version. For example, date 200920 stands for September 20 2020. If you added a business before this date, you can already claim it to create an ad campaign. If the business was added later, wait for the next release.
If the business is already present in OpenStreetMap.org and it is visible to all MAPS.ME users, but you still see an error when claiming it, please send us an email and provide the name of the business and its full address (country, city, street name and house number).
