Starting from version 8.6, you can upload your guides to the catalog and share them with the community. We added a web editor for creating and editing routes. You can use the editor to create a new route or edit an existing one.
To open the web editor, please open the link on the computer — routes.maps.me/webeditor
Create a new route
Find a place on the map by typing its name in the search field in the upper left hand corner of the editor.
You can add bookmarks to the map to create a route.
To add a bookmark, please click on the bookmark icon in the upper right hand corner, type the name of the bookmark in the Name field.

Click Add language and select the language in the drop-down menu. You can add information in different languages.

Please add the description, select tags and choose if you are familiar with the route as a traveler or a local.
Add a route line
To connect bookmarks with a line please click on the "Line icon" in the upper right hand corner of the editor and draw a line through all the route points.

Edit the route
You can name the route and select the color. You can also change the line color and add the name in another language.
Add bookmarks to the route
Please add bookmark to all route points one by one and when you add every bookmark click Save.
Save the guide
Click blue Save button in the upper right hand corner to save the created guide.
Log in to get the link to the route or publish route
Please click Log in button in the upper right hand corner. You can sign in via Facebook, Google or Phone.
Save the link or publish the route to the catalog
You can copy the link to the route on the left side of the page, and, for example, email it to yourself. You can also click Publish button in the upper right hand corner to upload the guide to public catalog.
Once the route has been published, you will see the notice that it's available in MAPS.ME app
Email yourself the link to the guide and open it in MAPS.ME app
Copy the link to the route and email it to yourself. Then open the link in the email to see the guide displayed on the map.
