Starting from version 8.6, you can upload your guides to the catalog and share them with the community. We added a web editor for creating and editing routes. You can use the editor to create a new route or edit an existing one.
To open the web editor, please open the link on the computer — routes.maps.me/webeditor
Create a new route
Find a place on the map by typing its name in the search field in the upper left hand corner of the editor.
You can add bookmarks to the map to create a route.
To add a bookmark, please click on the bookmark icon in the upper right hand corner.

Hold and drag the bookmark icon to the place on the map and select the place from the drop-down list, or create a new one. You can rename the place.
Add information about the route
You can also add the description, select tags and if you are familiar with the route as a traveler or a local.
When you add a bookmark you will see the editing options. You can add description, choose bookmark color and icon.
Add a route line
To connect bookmarks with a line please click on the "Line icon" in the upper right hand corner of the editor and draw a line through all the route points.
Save the route and edit the line
Once the route is created, click on the finish point of the route (square icon) and save the route. You can also change the line color and add the name in another language.
Add bookmarks to the route and publish the route
Please add bookmark to all route points, as shown above, and publish the route. To do this, click on the square icon and then on “Add bookmark” pop-up notice.
Edit the route in other languages
You can edit names, bookmark and line colors, icons and translations in other languages in the left menu after you have added route points or line.
To edit an existing route, please open a link you created in MAPS.ME app on your computer and follow the instructions described above.
